What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician Specialist position at Helix Electric?
At Helix Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled State Certified Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a production driven electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installations and troubleshooting in commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems
- Preparation of work area for installation of equipment
- Installation of electrical components
- Connection of wiring and equipment as per code and job specification
Requirements:
- State Journeyman Electrician Certification (required in states where required or considered highly desirable in states without this requirement)
- A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget
- Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes
- Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified
- Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime, and night shifts as required
