Field Service Technician

Hellas., Inc. headquartered in Austin, TX, is a nationwide specializing in sports facility construction. We manufacture, install & resurface artificial turfs & synthetic surfaces while completing the design from start to finish. Hellas, Inc. is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and increase our national presence in the West Coast Region located in Henderson, NV area. This position will require significant multistate travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on synthetic turf fields and running tracks.
• Operate various equipment, including a variable reach forklift, Kubota tractor, UTV, sports field machinery, and gas blowers.
• Assist the synthetic turf crew with field installations, such as cutting, rolling, and joining turf seams.
• Adhere to safety requirements for construction sites.
• Perform tasks assigned to aid in the set-up and maintenance of an orderly and safe work environment.
• Daily paperwork and reports.
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines, including maintaining truck logs.

Qualifications

• Must be open to extensive road travel across the West Coast region (no air travel).
• Previous experience in synthetic turf maintenance is not required; however, experience in construction, carpet laying, or landscaping is preferred.
• Must be capable of driving and parking an F250 truck and pulling a 40’ trailer.
• Ability to load and unload equipment from trailers and vehicles.
• Proficiency in operating basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift to 80 lbs.
• Must perform general maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA certification.
• Proficiency with iPhones, iPads, Outlook, and calendar management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
