We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef/Baker who is passionate about baking, decorating and recipe creation/implementation.

What does our Pastry Chef/Baker do?
- Will oversee our pastry team, production and be involved with baking, assembling, and decorating our products (Cakes, Pastries, Bread and other bakery items).
- Cook from scratch but on a commercial bakery level.
- Prepare pastry items according to recipe while following GMP quality standards.
- Develop and implement new recipes as well as improve existing recipes as needed.
- Be involved with sourcing and buying ingredients as well as conducting weekly inventory.
To be successful in this position, you will need to:
- Take pride in how you work and what you make.
- Be driven and motivated to produce amazing products in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously leading the team.
- Collaborate and communicate with the team to improve processes, reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Maintain product consistency.
- Work with Management Team to calculate labor and product costs.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience in bakers ovens and racks perferred but not required.
- Experience with a water jet cutter is peferred but not required.
- Have 3 years in a similar role.
- Have a degree or certification in Culinary Arts
