This position will be based in our Seguin office and will require travel to local job sites. Qualified candidates must possess a degree in Construction Science or Civil Engineering, along with experience in heavy highways, parks and recreation, or other civil construction specialties.

The Project Manager will be responsible for project profit and loss, ensuring all civil projects are well-planned and successfully executed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include managing multiple assigned projects from award through closeout, with project sizes ranging from $5–$20M. The Project Manager will also oversee all aspects of operations, working cohesively with Superintendents, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Architects, and Clients to ensure all project requirements are met.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects from start to closeout.
- Oversee project setup, budget entry into company software, issuance of purchase orders for materials, and maintenance of project files.
- Take full responsibility for creating the master project schedule, including preparing documentation for the owner (contracts, bonds, insurance, SWPPP documents, etc.), assembling subcontractor packets, and processing and tracking submittals and shop drawings.
- Attend all project, pre-construction, job site, substantial completion, and final completion meetings as required.
- Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and analyze projected profits against the budget.
- Review and approve subcontractor monthly payment requests and submit them for processing.
- 5 years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
- Previous experience managing civil engineering projects involving dirt, concrete, pipe, liner, underground earthwork, etc.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding project plans and specifications.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in civil construction.
- Ability to manage 3–4 projects concurrently, with total project values ranging from $5–$10M.
- Moderate to high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Full understanding of construction math concepts.
