We are looking for a Bilingual Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT team. This role will provide first-line technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure efficient IT operations across the company.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in setting up new user accounts and workstations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and VPN access.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures.
- Train employees on basic IT functions and security best practices.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and track equipment distribution.
- Communicate IT solutions effectively in both English and Spanish to support bilingual staff.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and remote desktop applications.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company data.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
- Microsoft Certification(s) or other relevant IT certifications preferred.
- Equivalent Microsoft certifications may be accepted in place of the above.
