As the Life Enrichment Director, you will apply your dynamic abilities by:
- Conducting assessments of the interests, functional levels, and the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of all residents
- Developing Activities care plan goals and approaches and communicate resident responses
- Encouraging resident participation in activities while respecting resident choice
- Interacting with residents, family members, co-workers, and visitors
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Licensed or registered by Indiana as eligible for certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or as an Activities professional by a recognized accrediting body
- Two years of experience in a social or recreational program
- Year of full-time employment in an Activities Program in a health care setting
