As the Cook, you will apply your dynamic abilities by:
- Preparing and serving high-quality, nourishing and properly prepared food items
- Ensuring resident meal choices are consistent with orders
- Cleaning and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Follow time schedules for food production/preparation and the serving of the meals
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in large food quantity preparation in a health care community
- Knowledge of serving of therapeutic diets and portion control
- Ability to read, write, and make simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to remain stationary 50-100%; position self to exert 10-30lbs of force or to move objects
