As the Staff Nurse, you will apply your dynamic abilities by:
- Assisting with the coordination and supervision of quality nursing care services for assigned residents that reflect the facility’s philosophy
- Promoting the individual independence of residents served
- Assuring that resident or family concerns and complaints are handled
- Promoting a positive work environment
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current license as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in Indiana
- Ability to read, write, and make simple mathematical calculations
- Experience in long-term care or public health nursing, or equivalent experience in a hospital, retirement community, or nursing facility preferred
- Ability to remain stationary 50-100%; position self to exert 10-30lbs of force or to move objects
