Job Description
This role involves working outdoors, primarily in the field, and requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, crawling, kneeling, lifting, and utilizing company-provided equipment. You must be able to work independently and effectively manage time to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery Operations: Safely deliver propane products to customer locations, verifying tank information and inspecting equipment as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stockouts.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles, reporting any issues promptly and performing basic repairs as necessary.
- Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide educational materials on propane product usage and safety.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience preferred.
- Licensing: Must obtain a valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement within 60 days of employment.
- Certifications: Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
