Responsibilities
Transportation and Distribution: Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and from truck to customer tanks, ensuring accurate verification of tank information upon delivery.
Safety Checks: Perform visual inspections of equipment and report any issues, maintain continuous monitoring of truck tank levels to ensure adequate supply, and ensure trucks are adequately stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Customer Interaction: Educate customers on safe and proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures, inspect company vehicles daily, and report any issues in a timely manner.
Tank Installation and Maintenance: Install and remove propane tanks and gas-powered appliances, perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work related to propane tanks, supply systems, and gas-powered appliances.
Requirements
Certifications: Within 60 days of employment, must obtain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations in employee's state of residence with a Hazardous Materials endorsement.
Background Check: Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing.
