Job Summary
Under the direction of the Distribution Manager and with guidance from the EHS Manager (Milwaukee), the Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing all warehouse personnel and activities on their assigned shift. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the daily warehouse functions on assigned shift, including picking, packing, preparing orders for shipment, & reviewing product for quality issues prior to shipment.
- Coach and mentor employees on the assigned shift, in all assigned warehouse activities.
- \Orientation and train new employees on warehouse activities in assigned area(s) on warehouse activities including proper use of equipment.
- Advise management of any problems with staff, production, or quality issues.
- Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton’s QS9000/ISO 14001 certification by supporting corporate policies, procedures, work instructions & required documentation.
- Provide safety and environmental training in various areas on an ongoing basis.
- Prepare Management Report daily to meet TS standards
- Communicate and troubleshoot with IT personnel regarding PeopleSoft and Trax issues.
- Print reports and orders.
- Assist Distribution Manager as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to use MS Word and Excel (in order to prepare correspondence and reports).
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and vendors in both oral and written form.
- Ability to use ERP system, MQ1, and TRAX software.
- Ability to drive various forklifts in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a Lead capacity, preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer and software experience, including data entry experience.
- Prior forklift experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret customer orders.
- Able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours when assigned.
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.
