Summary
As a Paraprofessional at Hello ABA, you will play an essential role in supporting our mission to empower children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position involves working closely with our team of professionals to implement individualized programs that promote growth and development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of certified professionals.
- Support children in developing essential skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, providing feedback to the team for program adjustments.
- Foster a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home, promoting continuity of care.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Help maintain an organized classroom setting that supports effective learning.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles, particularly related to children with ASD.
- Experience in early childhood education or behavior management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is beneficial.
