Positions Available: Infant Early Care, Toddler Early Care, Preschool Early Care, Infant After Care, Toddler After Care, Preschool After Care
Start Date: February 10th, 2025
Contracted Hours: Early Care (6:30-8:30am) After Care (3:30-5:30pm).
*Candidates can be considered for only Early Care or only After Care or both if they would like to be considered for a split shift role

Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and skilled Early Childhood Educators to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms in the Early and After Care programs. The Early and After care teams will provide daily support in each classroom environment during the hours before and after the primary day. We are seeking candidates who will foster nurturing and responsive relationships with students in this environment in accordance with the Pyramid Model Consortium Framework. This role requires a deep commitment to evidence-based teaching practices, highly collaborative work-ethic, and ongoing professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Implementation:
- Implement individualized learning experiences for children in the classroom environments.
- Prioritize evidence-based best practices to support the learning and development of each child.
- Use a play-based learning method to foster exploration and discovery.
- Classroom Environment:
- Manage transitions at pick up and drop off as children and arriving and being dismissed for the day.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Implement the practices from the Pyramid Model Consortium that support positive behavior and foster social-emotional learning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space.
- Work collaboratively within the teaching and administrative team
- Empathetic Communication & Caregiving:
- Prioritize strong in-person communication with the families
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with parents, teachers, and caregivers
- Professional Development & Collaboration:
- Seek ongoing communication and collaboration with the teaching team of the classroom.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including built-in calendar days for training and growth.
- Engage in regular communication with the leadership team to ensure alignment with the center’s goals and mission.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 per hour
