Hello, Nanny!,a prestigious nanny agency, is actively seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Home Manager & Family Nanny to join an exceptional family of six in Burlingame, CA. This unique position offers a remarkable opportunity to become an essential part of a caring and dynamic family, taking on both household management and childcare responsibilities. The successful candidate will be entrusted with maintaining an organized and nurturing home environment, providing nutritious meal preparation, overseeing the after-school routine of the four wonderful children, and building a long-term relationship with the family, which may include the possibility of shared vacations. While fluency in French is a plus, it is not mandatory. Looking for an individual who brings joy, energy, and thoughtfulness to the role, coupled with a professional and respectful demeanor, exemplary emotional intelligence, and the ability to maintain clear boundaries between personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Exhibit exceptional proficiency in handling daily household tasks to ensure the home is organized and functional.
  • Perform grocery shopping, light housekeeping (family has a housekeeper), and organizing duties as needed.
  • Oversee home maintenance when required.
  • Assist with feeding the family’s two labradoodles.
  • Meal prep nutritious meals for the family. Thoughtfully accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions.
  • Provide reliable and attentive child care by picking up the children from school and guiding them through their daily routine.
  • Assist with homework and engage the children in fun and educational activities.
  • Ensure the children’s well-being until the parents return home.
  • Build a supportive and nurturing relationship with the children, incorporating imaginative play and activities.
  • Safely transport the children to after-school activities or appointments.
  • Manage the children’s laundry, ensuring they have clean and presentable clothes like soccer uniforms, are washed and ready for use.
  • Assist with caring for the family’s parent at home.
  • Act as a mother’s helper, providing additional support to the stay-at-home mom (SAHM) as needed and be a team with tasks.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • 18 years or older.
  • Minimum of 3 years of childcare or nannying experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • No criminal history.
  • Complete proficiency in the English language.
  • Minimum of 3 impeccable child care references.
  • Up-to-date CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to update).
  • Proactive, flexible, able to work in a dynamic and sometimes chaotic environment, and capable of taking initiative.
