Live-In Nanny

Location: Mandeville, Louisiana

Start Date: July 2025

Children: 1st and 5th Grade

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $800 - $1,000 per week ($41,600 - $52,000 annually)
• Travel Weeks: $1,200 per week
• Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Schedule:

Split Shift:

• Morning: 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM (before school care)
• Get children ready for school
• Ensure they board the school bus (6:35 AM and 8:05 AM)
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (after school care)
• Meet children at the bus stop (one child around 3:00 PM, the other around 4:00 PM)
• Transport to extracurricular activities (ballet, tap, soccer)

Future Schedule Considerations:

• Occasional evening commitments
• Overnight travel for the parent (children will remain in Louisiana with the nanny)
• All overnight travel and evening commitments will be scheduled in advance

About the Family:

A warm and welcoming family seeking a dedicated live-in nanny to provide structured and engaging care for their children. The children attend public school during the day and participate in extracurricular activities. The family requires a nanny who is adaptable and able to provide care when the parent is out of town.

Job Responsibilities:

• Morning and after-school care, including preparing meals/snacks
• Assisting with school drop-off and pick-up
• Supervising homework and educational activities
• Transporting children to extracurricular activities
• Light household duties related to the children (e.g., tidying play areas, organizing school bags)

Ideal Candidate:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• CPR/First Aid certified and water safety trained (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to swim
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication, professionalism, and discretion
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• No criminal history and three impeccable references
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Non-smoker

Additional Consideration:

• The nanny is permitted to hold an additional job or attend school during the day while the children are in school, as long as it does not interfere with nanny responsibilities.
