We’re seeking a friendly, proactive individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Pet Bather. This role combines customer service with hands-on pet care, ensuring a positive experience for clients and their pets (dogs and cats).
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle check-outs professionally.
- Bathe pets according to their specific needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Brush and comb pets to remove tangles and maintain healthy coats.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop, including grooming tools and bathing areas.
- Monitor pets’ behavior during grooming and report any concerns to management.
- Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with pet owners.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish to communicate with a diverse client base.
- A genuine love for animals and experience handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be a people person who enjoys building connections.
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to take initiative.
- Previous experience in pet care or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Flexible availability, including weekends if needed.
