Role Overview: Field Installation Engineer/Technician
Join our mission-driven team as a Field Installation Engineer/Technician, where your technical expertise will directly contribute to transforming healthcare delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and testing hellocare’s innovative AI-Assisted Virtual Care platform at customer sites, working hands-on to ensure our solutions are perfectly tailored to meet each health system’s needs. Your work will enable healthcare systems to overcome some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, such as clinician burnout and staff shortages, while improving patient care and operational efficiency.
Your role will be critical in empowering clinical staff by deploying technology that supports them in delivering patient-centered care. By ensuring smooth and effective installations, providing tailored training, and troubleshooting issues, you will help health systems leverage hellocare’s innovative solutions to their fullest potential.
Core Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test hellocare hardware and software solutions at healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Work closely with health system staff to understand their requirements and tailor installations to their specific needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation, configuration, and setup, ensuring that all technical challenges are swiftly addressed.
- Train healthcare professionals to effectively use the hellocare platform, ensuring they feel confident and capable in utilizing the technology for patient care.
- Ensure high-quality installations by adhering to company standards and best practices, guaranteeing that all solutions are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Travel to various job sites as required to perform installations and provide support.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful pre-sales engagements and a clear understanding of client requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for service and delivery issues, working closely with other teams to resolve any challenges that arise during or after installation.
- Gather feedback from clients and collaborate with internal teams such as product development and R&D to ensure the continuous improvement of our services and delivery processes.
Your Profile:
- 2 years of experience in a field product installation role
- Big plus understanding of virtual care and telehealth industry, regulations and standards.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of service and delivery professionals
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
