Brief Overview
Our Sales Director engages in activity related to developing new business Opportunities and expanding our current client footprint to fuel growth within a geographical territory that they will manage. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, we are looking for a seasoned individual contributor that can excel in a start-up environment and take a hands-on approach to grow the business. A successful person in this role is an experienced, energetic sales professional that can work collaboratively AND independently to drive growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas
- Work with customers to understand and identify their objectives and needs while aligning our products and services with their needs
- Responsible for the sale of SaaS platform, healthcare equipment, and professional services
- Increase key accounts market share and support sales & marketing programs, RFP’s, bids and other customer requirements
- Achieve/exceed sales quota through a consultative and analytical sales approach
- Communicate the value proposition and Return on Investment (ROI) to prospective customers
- Abide by the expectations set forth by Vice President of Sales and other leaders in the company
- Understand how to lead customers through change and perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match products with identified needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years SaaS solution sales experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences
- True, demonstrable hunter
- Ability to identify, negotiate, and close big deals (from targeted Health System Accounts and in a defined territory)
- Healthcare industry sales experience - preferred SaaS and medical equipment
- Experience building a sales pipeline and positioning business to close, also understands complex contracting process
- College/University degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Must be comfortable working at all levels of an organization with preferred experience calling on the C-Suite
- Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills, and oral communication skills
- Must be capable of multitasking to meet company expectations and goals
- Detail-oriented and well organized as you prepare, build, and manage your
- Pipeline
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote location which means you can work from anywhere, coming together physically for ideation, collaboration, and client meetings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Great IT skills and preferred knowledge of TeleHealth for understanding the terminology in order to perform sales in our product, to deliver engaging presentations.
