Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of associates to receive and sort all volume for the shift, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Direct incoming volume to the correct destination on time, minimizing delays.
- Communicate any issues or delays promptly to the Sort Supervisor.
- Attend pre-sort meetings to work towards daily goals and promote safe operations.
- Contribute to results in safety, productivity, cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Utilize internal technology and systems to conduct operations efficiently.
- Assist in warehouse areas as needed, providing support to ensure seamless workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- The ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math is essential.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Using scanning devices and basic computer skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
