SUMMARY

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing the branch department by providing World Class Service to our clients and community in directing and coordinating all the activities of the branch, including direct supervision of all team members. The Branch Manager will lead the team to guide and advise members on products and services offered that fits their financial needs and promotes the growth and profitability of the bank by developing and expanding member relationships and retention.

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Customer Experience
  • Responsible for branch development and tending to VIP clients. Interact with clientele on a daily basis via email, phone or at the branch with questions and concerns
  • Ensures excellent customer service skills are practiced by all the staff members.
Leadership
  • Oversees the department by directing, coordinating the daily functions and activities of branch personnel.
  • Provide leadership, development and coaching of employees.
  • Responsible for the general maintenance of the branch and the safety and security of employees.
  • Monitors balances General Ledger accounts.
  • Facilitates meetings to disseminate operational information.
Strategic Planning
  • Develops strategies for stablishing partnerships and business relationships to market the banks products and services with current clients and prospects in order to keep the business, deposits and loans base growing by making phone calls, traveling and attending conferences.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review account opening process and ensure documentation is conformant with compliance and in accordance with the BSA program.
Regulatory
  • Establishes procedures for custody and control of assets and records. Additionally, audits branch logs and reviews the items kept in vault.
  • Works on special projects related to the Branch Department as needed.

  • Bachelors (B.A.) or Masters (M.A.) in business administration, accounting or finance required or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of five years of banking, customer service and managerial experience.
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring, training, disciplining, rewarding, assigning and directing work, planning, appraising performance and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
