About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced scheduler to join our team at Helm Group. As a scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining critical path method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6 software. You will analyze schedules, conduct constructability reviews, and model parallel workstreams to ensure efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop resource-loaded CPM schedules for complex mechanical projects using Primavera P6 software.
- Analyze schedules provided by clients or General Contractors to identify errors and bottlenecks.
- Model parallel workstreams for sheet metal, plumbing, and equipment installation while respecting union jurisdictional boundaries.
- Integrate procurement timelines for specialty valves, chillers, and other equipment into the P6 schedule.
- Establish earned value metrics to track piping spool installation rates against labor hours.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in scheduling mechanical construction projects exceeding $10 million in value.
- Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 software with a portfolio demonstrating working knowledge of professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, or CCM.
