Join Our Team as a Union Material Handler -
Are you ready for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact? We're looking for a Union Material Handler to join our dynamic team on a temp-to-hire basis. What you'll do :
Safely and efficiently move materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment.
Maintain inventory accuracy by properly labeling and tracking materials.
Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse space.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Perform additional responsibilities, including labeling stock, receiving stock, stocking locations, and wrapping / banding pallets.
Requirements
Excellent Attendance : Reliability is key!
Physical Ability : Capable of lifting heavy items (up to 60 lbs), Willingness to work on your feet for extended periods.
Equipment Skills : Willingness to learn and operate forklifts, order pickers, and narrow-aisle reach trucks.
Team Player : A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
Safety-Focused : Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
Union Membership : Willingness to join the union and adhere to union guidelines.
Experience : No prior experience required but highly preferred
