The Commercial Manager will develop and maintain leads within the Dry Bulk and MPP / project cargo segments, ensuring revenue growth. Responsibilities include managing client accounts, strengthening relationships, improving retention, and driving profitability through new services and alternative revenue streams. The role also involves acquiring new clients, exploring emerging markets, and building direct relationships with commodity clients, cargo handlers, and vessel owners.
Candidates must have a strong background in Commercial Maritime Operations, Sales, and Relationship Building, with experience in team management and client onboarding. Responsibilities include managing Key Account Managers, attending sales presentations and trade shows. The role requires regular travel, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
