Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Real Estate Consultant to join our team in a full-time hybrid capacity. Based in Bethesda, MD, this position offers flexibility for remote work several days a week.
The Real Estate Consultant will play a critical role in advising clients on real estate opportunities, guiding them through the acquisition, leasing, and development process. Responsibilities will include conducting property evaluations, creating market research reports, structuring deals, and negotiating lease and purchase agreements. You will work closely with business owners, investors, and developers to support growth strategies and align real estate decisions with long-term business goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Leading and supporting client presentations and site tours
• Preparing financial models and investment summaries
• Monitoring and reporting on market trends and submarket performance
• Collaborating with internal and external partners including architects, attorneys, and city officials
• Assisting in the preparation of pitch materials and proposals for prospective clients
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting knowledge-sharing within the firm
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in real estate consulting, brokerage, or development
• Demonstrated success in leasing, acquisitions, or property sales within the commercial real estate sector
• Strong financial acumen, including familiarity with pro formas, rent rolls, and ROI analysis
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable advising clients and making presentations to stakeholders
• Experience in training or mentoring others on market dynamics and best practices
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Knowledge of the DMV real estate market
