Helm is a fast-growing company that is seeking an experienced Bindery Operator for the Distribution Center located in Livonia, MI. This position will be responsible for producing high-quality products within every facet of the production process. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who demonstrates the aptitude to learn and run all machines in the Bindery Department.

Who do we need?
Helm is currently seeking a Bindery Operator coming with experience on machines such as perfect binders, high speed cutters, UV coater, slitter/scorer, saddle stitcher, drill, folder, and other industry standard bindery equipment. Also experience on equipment like Shrinkwrap Tunnel, Collator, and Autobagger is helpful. This position will be responsible to ensure a high-quality product of every facet of the Bindery process.

Requirements
Essential duties and responsibilities of the Bindery Operator:
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, units of measure, fractions, decimals, etc.

- Sense of urgency
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience running traditional commercial Bindery equipment. Must have the knowledge and training to successfully set up, operate, and maintain the different equipment in a commercial print Bindery.
