Job Summary :
The Home Health Infusion Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes. We are looking for a dedicated nurse with at least 1 year of experience in infusion therapy or catheter care, who can perform essential duties including catheter access and maintenance, patient assessments, medication administration, and blood draws. Additionally, you will be instrumental in educating patients on the self-administration of medication while accurately documenting visit notes using electronic charting.
Responsibilities :
- Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC / central lines), conduct patient assessments, and administer medications (Antibiotics, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty medications).
- Conduct blood draws as necessary.
- Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
- Document visit notes promptly through electronic charting.
