What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Infusion Nursing Position position at Helms Home Care?
Key Responsibilities
The Infusion RN will be responsible for providing infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes. This includes:
* Performing catheter access & care
* Vitals/assessments
* Medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds)
* Blood draws
* Providing patient education on self-administration of medication
* Making visit notes through electronic charting
* Submitting promptly
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current Registered Nurse license with competence in the duties described above. You will also need to have minimum 1 year of experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care, reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine, and the ability to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel.
We expect our Infusion RNs to do 2 visits per week and have a valid automobile insurance. If you are a licensed driver and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
