Job Description: Private Duty LPN or RN
Helms Home Care is seeking to hire LPN or RN's for hourly private-duty home care in Waxhaw, NC 28173. The nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including medication administration, Trilogy machine, ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc. The shift available is every Saturday from 7:15pm-7:15am.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc.
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
Requirements:
- Current NC or Compact State nursing license
- Familiarity with home skilled nursing needs
- Experience with caring for patients on a ventilator and tracheostomy and or be willing to train
- Reliable transportation
