Heloscaping Inc. is a fully insured growing landscape business, servicing the 518 area. We have a positive work environment with competitive pay. We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and reliable hardscape foreman to oversee and operate their own hardscape crew for residential and commercial properties. This is a full time position with lots of overtime opportunities. 5 years of hardscape management experience is required.
*Warning* This job is labor intensive. You will be expected to work long shifts. Please do not apply if you lack time management skills, and common sense. We are looking for someone that is responsible and ready to work, wants to do their job without any drama, and take home a healthy pay check at the end of the week. Company truck and phone will be provided for the right candidate. This is not a seasonal job. During the winter months, you will be expected to continue with hardscaping projects when the weather permits. Snow removal/salting is also required in the winter months. Please expect to be on call and to work until all accounts are free of snow and/or ice.

Job Duties Include:
A hardscape foreman is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing a crew of workers during the installation of hardscaping elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and driveways, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining safety and proper communication with clients and vendors; their duties include:
- Project planning and execution: Reading and interpreting project plans, assigning tasks to crew members, scheduling work, and ensuring proper material ordering and delivery.
- Crew supervision: Leading and directing the work of the hardscape installation crew, providing training and guidance on techniques and safety procedures.
- Quality control: Inspecting work in progress to ensure adherence to design specifications, proper installation techniques, and quality standards.
- Safety management: Enforcing safety protocols on the job site, addressing potential hazards, and ensuring all crew members wear appropriate protective gear.
- Client communication: Maintaining open communication with clients, addressing concerns, and keeping them updated on project progress.
- Material management: Managing inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
- Budget monitoring: Tracking project costs, identifying potential cost overruns, and taking corrective actions to stay within budget.
- Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during construction, including unexpected site conditions or technical challenges.
- Technical expertise: Possessing in-depth knowledge of various hardscape materials, installation methods, and best practices.
- Paperwork and documentation: Completing necessary paperwork including daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation.

Valid and Clean NYS Drivers License

5 years of experience hardscaping Management Experience
