This position is a part-time position, 20 hours a week. Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist in maintaining day-to-day tasks related to
ensuring Help at Home Senior Care receives payment for services provided to clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts
receivable.
Creates invoices according to company procedures; relays invoices to
customers.
Maintains customer files as updates occur or when new customers are created.
Investigates and resolves clients’ billing issues and concerns.
Facilitates payments on past due accounts by sending reminders and contacting
clients.
Acts as liaison for clients with long term care insurance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Monitors client billing authorizations to ensure accuracy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software as well as Microsoft Office
programs.
Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of related experience, in bookkeeping or accounting, preferred, but not required
