About the Role
We're seeking a Volunteer Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager to support the launch of Help app. We're looking for someone well-versed in the US market, with a proven track record in B2C social media and influencer partnerships. Focused on driving donor acquisition and app engagement through paid and organic digital campaigns, you will own campaign copywriting, setup, execution, and optimization, while collaborating closely with our creative team who provide all visual assets.
Responsibilities
- Register the app as a nonprofit on key platforms to access ad credits and grants.
- Set up and manage analytics and tracking to measure campaign performance.
- Define goals and KPIs focused on donor acquisition and conversion.
- Write compelling ad copy aligned with provided creative assets.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize landing pages with clear calls to action.
- Launch, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns using targeting and retargeting.
- Source and manage influencers, coordinating outreach and campaign execution.
- Support influencers with guidelines to ensure on-brand messaging.
- Produce regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Explore additional channels like peer-to-peer fundraising and email lead generation.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit ad program requirements and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Willing to commit 10-15 hours per week to our marketing efforts and a minimum commitment of three months to support the launch of Help app.
- 3 years in demand generation or digital marketing.
- Proven experience managing paid and organic campaigns across major platforms.
- Strong copywriting skills; creative strategy visuals are provided by creative team.
- Experience sourcing, managing, and collaborating with influencers.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and campaign tracking.
- Excellent project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Google Ad Grants and nonprofit compliance or willingness to learn.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance and accelerate marketing output
- Industry experience or familiarity with charitable and social projects - a nice to have!
