We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern for the Spring 2025 semester. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing while supporting a mission-driven organization. This role will work a flexible 6-8 hours per week, with occasional weekend work during social events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to our audience.
- Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyze social media metrics and suggest improvements to enhance engagement and reach.
- Research and implement trends to increase our online presence and advocacy efforts.
- Support special projects and campaigns as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and basic knowledge of analytics tools.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Passion for social inclusion and a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
