What You'll Do
You'll be one of the first people that our clients encounter when they enter one of our Homebase Homelessness Prevention program sites. In addition to helping ensure a safe, secure, and calm environment for clients and staff, you'll also play an important role in helping clients feel welcome and setting the tone for their visit. As a member of our security team, it's critical that you're alert, vigilant, attentive to detail, and courteous to all. Your responsibilities will include patrolling, maintaining accurate documentation, and preparing incident reports when necessary.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
9:00am-5:00pm 3 days/week
11:00am-7:00pm 2 days/week
You’re a great fit for this role if you have:
New York State Security Guard License.
FDNY F-01 (30 days from hire to obtain).
Prior safety/security experience.
It would be helpful (but not required) if you have:
High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills.
Experience or ability to work with people in need.
