Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely as needed.
- Medication Reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or home health is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of long-term care practices is beneficial.
- Experience in assisted living or hospice care settings is a plus.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper body mechanics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members.
