Position Summary
The Assistant Facility Director supports the management of Bybee Lakes Hope Center by ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and volunteers. Key responsibilities include handling participant grievances, crisis management, maintaining facility operations including coordinating with law enforcement and building community resources.

Essential Responsibilities
Three years of facility and/or programs management required. 2 years of supervisory experience required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will consider combination of equivalent education and experience in lieu of a degree.

Essential Responsibilities
- Uphold shelter community guidelines to maintain smooth operations and ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff
- Manage participant services, including grievances, leave requests, urinalysis, and program discussions.
- Oversee staff activities, including onboarding, training, monthly check-ins, timesheet approvals, employee room audits, and overtime management.
- Consult with clients in crisis, using trauma-informed crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed for client safety and facility security.
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Professional development/training on De-escalation, Trauma-informed care
- Direct or Lived Experience with homelessness, addiction, and/or low-income populations.
- Understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness, chemical dependency, domestic violence, and sexual assault
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- One year of supervisory/management experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs and/or word processing and spreadsheet software
- Driver's License
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to appropriately assess a situation and take corrective action as necessary.

- Frequently required to move about within the facility for meetings, office equipment, and daily operations.
