We do not duplicate available services; instead, we build strong collaborative partnerships with local programs and foster connections between participants and our community partners.

This part-time/temporary Maintenance Tech role will assist with the repair and upkeep of the Bybee Lakes HOPE Center, a 155,000 square foot building. Schedule is flexible up to 24 hours per week: mostly day shift, with an hourly wage of $18.90.

• Basic construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, and roofing
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing general maintenance issues
• Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records and scheduling maintenance
• Physical strength and dexterity to frequently lift, move and handle equipment, 50 lbs
• Stamina to deal with long hours standing or walking
• Strong verbal and written communication for discussing maintenance issues
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions
• Organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct or Lived Experience with homelessness, addiction, and/or low-income populations.
• Understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness, chemical dependency, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault
