Homecare LPN Supervisor
Job Summary
The Homecare LPN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of homecare services by caregivers/CNAs to patients in their homes. The supervisor ensures that all services are provided in accordance with the patient's care plan and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of caregivers/CNAs providing homecare services
- Ensure that all services are provided in accordance with the patient's care plan and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the delivery of homecare services
- Ensure that all caregivers/CNAs are properly trained and equipped to provide homecare services
- Monitor the quality of care provided by caregivers/CNAs and take corrective action as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring of caregivers/CNAs
Qualifications
- Current LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in homecare
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other computer applications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Demands
