Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for our clients in Birmingham, AL. The Home Health Aide will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly or disabled individuals and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with medication management and administration
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Home Health Aide training program
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
