Helping U Homecare, Inc. is seeking an HR Compliance Coordinator for immediate hire in Manhattan NY.
Spanish speaking is a must! Home Care Compliance experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate punctuality, professional phone etiquette, problem-solving skills, computer proficiency, familiarity with office equipment, commitment to confidentiality and compliance, and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure new hires and existing paraprofessional employees (HHA / PCA) comply with DOH regulations including pre-employment physicals, annual updates, and in-service requirements.
- Process new applicants for employment and procure and authenticate documents required for employment such as I9.
- Enter compliance information into the software system HHA exchange.
- Utilize software system HHA exchange to track ongoing compliance via reporting tools.
- Ensure annual performance evaluations / supervisions are being performed for all paraprofessional employees.
- Coordinate and schedule ongoing in-service education for all paraprofessional employees.
- Conduct audits and support regulatory processes.
