JOB SUMMARY: Plans, develops, directs, implements (with assistance of Clinical Instructor) and monitors program of orientation and education for all facility personnel. Coordinates staff development with nursing service program. Coordinates & conducts CNA training. Participates/Assists in educational programs for the facility. Provides nursing personnel with the appropriate education, training and experience on an ongoing basis for carrying out their assigned responsibilities and organizational goals. Participates in quality assurance tracking of programs and nursing service personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by State Board of Nursing, Certified Nurse Educator, CNA - Train the trainer
- Experience as Nurse Educator preferred.
- Experience/ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality education and nursing care.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to the health care field.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
