Job Summary :
We are looking for dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Managers for the Portland, Oregon area to drive new business growth in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. This role focuses on acquiring and managing regional and local accounts through a proactive sales strategy, specializing in Air, Ocean, Warehousing / Distribution, and 3PL services.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales, with a proven track record of hunting and securing new business.
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience in contract and process negotiations.
- Ability to effectively present to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Experience in general business management, including planning, accounting, and administration.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license for client visits and business travel.
