We’re currently looking for a Babysitter Nanny in Rockville.
A lovely family in Rockville - West End is seeking a babysitter for their 4 year old child when daycare is closed or when the child is sick at home. Needs will take place during weekdays or weekends (anytime between 9am until 5pm). Schedule will be as-needed with no guaranteed hours and notice may be short when needs arise. A great candidate will be caring, engaging, and reliable.
- Schedule: As-needed
- When needs arise, the family will need care no earlier than 9am am and no later than 5pm during weekdays and weekends
- May need care 4-6 days per month for minimum 4 hours
- No guaranteed weekly hours
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Length of Position: Long term, minimum 1 year
- Compensation: $24-$30
- 1 child: 4 year old
Responsibilities
- All aspects of care for 4 year child (meals, naps, etc)
- Age appropriate engagement and interaction
- Feeding with prepared meals
- Helping with homework
- Playing
- Art and crafts activities
- Taking the child out to play in the backyard
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience (preschool age experience a plus)
- Preschool teaching experience (a plus)
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Has valid driver’s license or ID and own reliable transportation
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
Compensation
This position pays $24-$30 per hour and client is looking for as-needed care with no guaranteed hours
