We’re currently looking for a Part Time After School Nanny in Havertown, PA 19083
A lovely family in Havertown is seeking a part time after school nanny for their 3 children to start Tuesday September 5th through the end of the school year in May or mid June 2024. Care is needed for a curious 5 year old, creative 7 year old, and a smart 10 year old on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-5:30pm. The family is open to offering an extra day each week on Tuesdays from 3pm-5:30pm. The 5 year old has a tree nut allergy and has an epipen available. The 5 year old will need to be picked up from school by 3pm and the 7 and 10 year old will need to be picked up at the bus stop around 4pm; the bus stop is in front of the family's home and the school is less than a half mile away. The children have extracurricular activities including soccer and gymnastics and there will be occasional times where they may need to be transported to these activities. There may be occasions when one of the child’s friends comes over to play and candidates must be comfortable with this. A great candidate will be attentive, caring, communicative, reliable, and responsible.

- End date: May or June 2024 (your choice)
- Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 3pm-5:30pm - option to include Tuesdays, 3pm-5:30pm
- Compensation: $20 per hour gas reimbursement when driving children
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving children; school pickups extracurricular activities (furthest distance being 1.5 miles from home)
- Tidying kitchen as needed
- Snack prep for children
- Pick up older children from bus stop
- Engaging with the children; arts & crafts, encouraging less screen time
- Light homework help
- Encouraging children to clean up utilized play areas
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience with school age children as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
- Must be UTD on CPR certificate or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license clean driving record (motor vehicle report will be checked)
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children; car seats will be provided
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 is a plus
