Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining safety and security at our designated locations. Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies while following established protocols.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all individuals on the premises.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations related to loss prevention or security breaches.
- Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.
Requirements
- Valid armed security officer certification is required; additional certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Must pass background checks and comply with all legal requirements for armed security personnel.
