Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will be expected to enforce laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in distress.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference and analysis.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in loss prevention, conflict management, and emergency response.

Skills

• Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques; certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques.
• Experience with surveillance systems including CCTV operation is highly desirable.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-stress environments.
