Qualifications:
- Small Business Management Experience (Must have)
- Strategic planning skills
- Leadership qualities
- Proficiency in profit & loss analysis
- Previous supervising experience
- Strong background in business development
- Project management expertise
- Ability to drive process improvement
- Sales acumen and experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve operational efficiency.
- Point of contact for customers
- Add sales orders and work orders to the ERP system
- Purchase all required material to keep production moving
- Vendor selection, communication and price negotiation. This includes overseas material suppliers
- Manages capacity for production forecast
- Delegates managers and supervisors
- Drives standardization practices throughout the organization
- Ensure that products are produced correctly, in a timely manner, and to meet customer specifications.
- Manage and improve the performance of production equipment, processes, and workers.
- Verify that production of products are with in labor and material limits.
- Communicate production requirements to management and workers.
- Oversee the manufacturing process from receiving raw materials through shipment at the end of line.
- Ensure that the plant is safe.: Know how to prevent accidents on the factory floor.
- May have to lift up to 45 lbs
- Other duties as they come up.
