Customer Service Representative

 

Customer Service Representative supports all projects in the Customer Service department, handles overflow of calls in the queue and provides support in other areas as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Answer inbound telephone calls and emails from customers in the queue, providing accurate information to customers in accordance with Hely & Weber guidelines.

 

 

  • Delivers accurate description of Hely & Weber products and/or technical support
  • Ensure all orders (web-orders, emails, telephone, GHX and EDI orders) are processed and reviewed in a timely manner

 

  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions, with details of inquiries, complaints and/or comments

 

  • Tasks are timely and accurate

 

Route callers to appropriate internal departments when required.

 

Resolve problems within bounds of authority or request assistance from other team members or supervisor as necessary.

 

Maintains a high level of service with customers and meets performance targets.

 

 

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

Minimum Experience

 

  • 2 years customer service experience
  • 2 years order entry experience
  • 2 years’ experience at a call center

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

 

  • Clear verbal and written communications, and ability to comprehend documents in English
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e., typing, data entry, Internet navigation, Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) with ability to learn new software
  • Basic use of standard office equipment (i.e., telephone, computer)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to accurately interpret information, demonstrate reactive problem-solving skills
  • Application of good judgment and decision making
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and productivity goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
