Salary is based on experience and starts at $19 (offer will be higher based on past experience) there are also stipends/bonuses. Generous benefits package including medical, dental, life, std, ltd, 401k/pension, tuition reimbursement, convenient free parking, etc.
Certified Pharmacy Technician:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician will review medication orders and assist in the dispensing of medications. They will review patients insurance, obtain prior authorizations as needed and manage purchases/returns and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical agents and products. They will assist in enrolling patients in patient assistance programs and grants and help to resolve problems encountered by patients as related to physician dispensing.

Requirements:Knowledge of pharmacy practice. Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and equipment. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Necessary – Prior experience as a pharmacy technician.
Certificate/License: National Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.
