Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our financial operations within the cable & digital networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic accounting guidance to support the stability and growth of our company.
What you will do:
- Lead team in the entire monthly close process
- Prepare/Review monthly journal entries
- Ensure all entries are properly supported, approved and backup electronically stored
- Responsible for all revenue streams (affiliate, ad sales, licensing, other) and proper recording in the GL
Accounting analysis – significant accounts include:
- Cash accounts
- Fixed assets and related depreciation
- Intangible assets and related amortization
- Prepaid expenses and other current assets
- Accrued Marketing
- Music Licensing analysis
- Review and posting of revenues
- Intercompany reconciliation
Sub-ledger reconciliations:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Initial review of submitted T&E reports to ensure appropriate AMEX back up, including coordinating with cardholders on timely submission of expense reports
- Coordinating with Corporate team on group projects and supporting the external audit as needed
- Responsible for drafting annual budget and forecasts during the year
- Ad hoc analyses, as needed

Requirements to be Successful
- BS in Accounting
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting, plus to have media experience
- Spanish is a plus
