Are you passionate about working with children and are looking for an exciting summer opportunity? Our Community Association Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Day Camp Counselors for our recreational day camp program!
About the Program
Our Summer Day Camp offers a fun and engaging environment for children ages 5 – 13 to explore, learn, and grow. We provide a wide range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and much more. Our goal is to create a memorable and enriching experience for all our campers. The program runs from 6/23/25 through 8/8/2025.
Responsibilities
As a Day Camp Counselor, you will:
· Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
· Lead and participate in camp activities and events
· Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment
· Mentor and support campers in their personal and social development
· Collaborate with other counselors and staff to plan and implement daily activities
· Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
· Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
· Background check clearances – ACT 153.
· Must be at least 18 years old

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
